This might become something…
I’ve had this official Tumblr sitting around for a long time now, and I got to thinking that one day…just one day…I might want to have a public-blog. One that I can use in an effort to keep the people up to date on my life.
That’s what this would be for.
I originally made this blog as a place to comment on the technology market, given the fact that I wasn’t blogging anywhere. I had given up blogging, but I still wanted to report and comment on things. After all, I’m not that too shabby at commentating on the market. With the demise of EqualTechNews and my short stint at TechnoBuffalo, I didn’t see myself going back to tech-blogging, and so I wanted a place to talk about those sorts of things.
However, after almost a year and a half of pleading from various people, I went back to my drawing board, teamed up with Andy, and we co-founded ByteNow. Byte has now been in existence just over 4 months, and it goes without saying that it’s done exceptionally well.
Our audience is growing by leaps and bounds, we are part of the Bloguin blogging network, and we’ve done product reviews for such companies as Microsoft, Sprint, Otterbox, NewerTech, and many more.
Since I have Byte, my tech-babble certainly gets an outlet, and so because of that, if for some reason I use this blog, I’ll use it for more personal things. More like a public-view on my life. As compared to the much more private journal of events that I maintain elsewhere.
Who knows what will happen! This certainly won’t be a Tumblr type of blog. No memes and what not, it’s just going to be an average blog. However, I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving Tumblr’s editor and interface, and so because of that, I’m going to host the blog here when and if I decide to pick it up!
